The Zoe Children
The heart of the Zoe Project is the children of Tembaro—orphans and vulnerable kids discovering hope, identity, and purpose in Christ.
The Zoe Children program nurtures the whole child—spirit, soul, and body—through daily meals, education at Zoe School, and ongoing Bible teaching and discipleship in partnership with the local church.
The Zoe Children program cares for orphans and vulnerable children in Tembaro by nurturing their spirit, soul, and body through a Christ-centered community that provides daily meals, education, biblical teaching, and consistent support.
Why This Matters
Many children had little or no access to formal schooling before, and the program provides daily provision and stability in community while supporting long-term wellbeing.
How It Works
A pastor comes to the school to teach Bible lessons about Jesus and help children understand they are loved by God. Children attend Zoe School and learn Amharic, English, Math, and Science, receiving books, supplies, and a uniform.
