The Zoe School
Each Zoe Project school is a church-partnered, locally led learning center that ministers to orphans and vulnerable children.
The school is the primary vehicle the Zoe Project uses to minister to children holistically through academics, daily meals, and daily Bible teaching in partnership with the local church.
Zoe Schools exist in partnership with the local church with the purpose of ministering to orphans in the surrounding area. Each school is run locally by people from the church and the local village and directed by an in-country Ethiopian Director.
Why This Matters
The school provides a consistent environment for orphans and vulnerable children and supports holistic care—spirit, soul, and body—through daily learning, daily meals, and spiritual formation.
How It Works
Each day children learn Amharic (the national language), English, math, and science. In partnership with the local church, there is also a Bible lesson each day.
